Privacy
For the app to work, the device's unique ID is read and used to link devices to counters. This happens every time the app is used.
The ID is stored for as long as a counter exists, or for as long as you have joined that counter.
This data is transmitted to Google Firebase, which handles the data storage for the counters.
Permission to use the camera is requested as soon as you want to join a counter. This is required so that the QR code can be scanned and you can join successfully.
